The college came up as an intermediate
level college in the year 1952 and then went on to become a full fledged science
college with all traditional branches of science being taught. And today we can
boast of an upgraded & updated syllabus that bears testimony to the growth made
by the institution.
The curriculum is a blend of the
newest aspects of science and technology keeping in minds the fact that this is
an age of being techno- savvy and that
India
is now in the age of information
super-highways and globalization. In keeping with the spirit of the age such subjects
as Information Technology, Biotechnology, and Computer Science Honours were added
to the existing list of subjects.
By earnestly pursuing a broad education
one gains the capacity not only to succeed in a career, but also to find purpose
and meaning in that career.

was a major leap towards up gradation of the curricula in order to fulfill the primary

The practical in all subjects are so designed as to bring out the highest level
